NGHTMRE

Genre: Electronic

Origin: United States

From Seoul to Coachella Valley, producer, DJ, and label owner Tyler Marenyi, best known as NGHTMRE has solidified himself as a global force in modern dance music. A certified tastemaker and festival mainstay with captivating talents reaching far beyond the EDM landscape, NGHTMRE’s potent artistic impact is anything but ordinary.

Tyler exploded onto the scene in 2015 when dubstep pioneer Skrillex dropped his previously unreleased single “Street” on Ultra Music Festival’s main stage. A defining moment in his now iconic career, the record went on to become one of the biggest trap hits of the summer, thus leading to Tyler Marenyi’s ascent to stardom as NGHTMRE.

In 2016, Tyler teamed up with close friends and collaborators SLANDER to unveil their career-elevating single “Gud Vibrations.” The celebrated track quickly evolved into a 34-city bus tour across the US. From back-to-back sold out shows at the Hollywood Palladium to packed shows at premiere venues like the NOS Events center and Red Rocks Amphitheater, the collaborative outfit took their show to the next level with international performances and tours across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. Their propulsive bravado both on stage and in the studio led to their weekly Gud Vibrations radio show on Sirius XM’s Diplo’s Revolution in conjunction with the development of the official GudVibrations record label curated collectively by both NGHTMRE and SLANDER.

With an expansive and provocative catalog of music and star-studded collaborations alongside ZHU, The Chainsmokers, Galantis, Dillon Francis, and recent collaborative hits like “Shady Intentions” with Zeds Dead, “Shell Shock” with Zomboy and Georgia Ku, and his UNSOUND EP with Ray Volpe, Rosie Darling, and more, NGHTMRE is at the apex of dance music’s biggest names. Tapping into the hip-hop and rap landscape with his electrifying finesse, NGHTMRE has also worked alongside rappers like A$AP Ferg, Gunna, Smokepurpp, Tory Lanez, and Wiz Khalifa, just to name a few. A philosopher of sound design, his sweltering sets are infused with field recordings and unorthodox samples to create immersive, inimitable listening experiences. A sweat-inducing performer with a wicked and demanding presence on stage, NGHTMRE has embarked on a near 50-city excursion with his 2019 Portal Tour, traveled as a headliner across Australia, Europe, and Asia, played legendary venues like Bill Graham Auditorium, Tacoma Dome, Aragon Ballroom, Terminal 5, in addition to his tenured residency at Hakkasan Vegas and performances at world renowned music festivals by the likes of Coachella, Bonnaroo, Ultra, Electric Forest, EDC Mexico, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza France, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, and many more. With critical acclaim from heavyweight media tastemakers like Billboard, Forbes, Complex, The Fader, and more, NGHTMRE is a name that will go down in history.

Armed with a dynamic signature sound and a gripping entrepreneurial vision, NGHTMRE fans should expect another riveting year for the artist as 2022 brings his debut feature-length album, a North American tour, a headlining show at Red Rocks in April, festival appearances at HARD Summer, EDC Las Vegas, Summer Camp, and much more.
