Awesome People We Met at Beyond Wonderland SoCal 2018 Day 1

Even though late afternoon storm clouds threatened from all sides, the sun was shining down on the beautiful Headliners at the 8th Beyond Wonderland SoCal. Day One saw a marriage proposal onstage during Black Tiger Sex Machine, a vibe-heavy tech house set from Fisher, 45 minutes of trap laid down by Tiësto, and a killer remix of Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love,” cued up by Catz ‘N Dogz. But as always, the most memorable moments came courtesy of YOU, our colorful and creative Headliners. Below are just a few of the awesome people we met at Beyond Wonderland SoCal 2018.

Steve: “They know that I’m here. My brother is doing a year in Marseille, France. Since he couldn’t be here, and he loves coming to these events, I’m taking the French flag for him, and I’m going to fly it high.”
Jenna: “My dad knows I’m here—he’s a DJ!”

Roan: “My dad doesn’t care, but my mom and I are actually going to Shambala. She wants to get more into the festival life!”

Angel: “I’ve always loved their genre of music, like that funky disco house beat. They’re always experimenting.”

Angel: “My parents know I’m here, but I call it a concert and not a rave!”
Jazzy: “My dad used to do this when he was younger; he was crazy. I’ll tell him, ‘Hey, I’m going to this,’ and he’s like, ‘Okay, have fun. Get me a poster.’” (Laughs)

I introduce myself to you, and you might see this little glimpse of me—but when you look beyond that, you’re gonna find this whole amazing outlook that I have on my life.”
